SUPPLY LIST
In both Astronomy & Anatomy, the only thing you might NOT already have that I'm fussy about:
1. A small 100-page composition book for the daily Journal. 75 cents at Wal-Mart? Buy two for when your friend (or some stranger you want to score points with) forgets his/hers.
...and these are the basics you already know about:
2. Something to write with and write on
- pencils, pens. Your choice, I mandate neither. (Colored pencils are not a bad idea since we will often be sketching and coloring.)
- loose leaf or spiral paper - your choice. My only thing about spiral is...well was*, the kadoobies that dangle off the torn edge of a spiral sheet after you tear it loose. (*Most spiral-bound these days has this sort-of light perforation which makes it easier to tear. Any more? I actually kind of like tearing those perforations!!)
3. A loose-leaf notebook with pockets is suggested, to store quarterly work. (You can share the notebook with another class if you like. I don't grade notebooks, but staying organized is its own reward, as those of us who know, know, and those of us who don't, will. And that's coming from someone who indeed knows, but who is still very often very disorganized.)
4. Textbook. If I issue one, which I might not. I prefer to use class sets, so you don't have to haul a book all over.
5. Certain consumables will be requested throughout the year. (You know, I always say that, then never do it.)
